About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our Global Accounting Delivery team at Volvo Car España. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our Purchase-to-Pay processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of Purchase-to-Pay transactions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our Volvo Cars entities in the EMEA region and the Business Process Outsourcing delivery team.
  • Resolve issues and inquiries related to Purchase-to-Pay processes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Focus on self-billing invoice processes for direct materials and support indirect material processes, including on-boarding new suppliers, setting up, fixing issues, and detecting improvement areas.
  • Analyze overdue invoices and manage supplier inquiries.
  • Approve invoice payment proposals and perform PTP period end activities.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs, including account reconciliation review and intercompany reconciliation.
  • Provide phone support for supplier calls and resolve escalated tickets through the ticketing system.
Requirements
  • Experience in Purchase-to-Pay processes in an international environment.
  • Ability to work in a structured way, detect areas of improvement, and implement changes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks with a positive mindset.
  • High integrity and a customer-centric approach.
