Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Strategist to join our Emerging Benelux & Nordics team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and optimizing accounts to improve performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational account management to small to medium-sized advertisers, growing revenue and optimizing accounts to improve performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients at all levels, from Traffic Manager to CMO.
  • Advise on clients' digital strategy and educate advertisers on Criteo's technology across channels and devices.
  • Optimize accounts to improve performance and identify growth opportunities, providing consultative guidance on market challenges and recommended solutions.
  • Proactively anticipate and reduce the likelihood of client churn, providing market knowledge to support clients' long-term development.
  • Demonstrate upselling capacity through effective negotiation skills and a consultative approach to pitch relevant solutions connected to clients' short-term business plans.
  • Inspire growth by promoting innovative cross-channel perspectives, creating successful campaigns aligned with clients' objectives, and maintaining relevant information in our CRM.
  • Manage side projects impacting individual book of business or team, driving them with support from team lead/manager/peer.

Requirements:

  • Business sense to handle a multitasking environment with prioritization.
  • Strong knowledge of core MS Office applications.
  • Passion for new media, internet trends, and continual learning.
  • Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasive skills across all levels.
  • Ability to act as a consultant and be reactive in front of potential situations.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail to explore product performances and explain recommendations.
  • Proven sales and client service track record, ideally in a tech or marketing related field.
  • Strong commercial experience required, ideally both remote and in-person.
  • Business fluent in English, with Dutch or a Nordic language a plus.
