About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Data and Research Services team at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality research support to our consulting teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of tourism and hospitality topics, including destination development, travel distribution, and aviation.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support client projects and initiatives, utilizing a range of data sources and research tools.
  • Collaborate with consulting teams and knowledge specialists to understand client needs and deliver tailored research solutions.
  • Evaluate source quality and data accuracy, identifying and raising research-related issues as needed.
  • Develop and maintain tools, resources, and training within the travel, transport, and leisure topics, contributing to knowledge capture and documentation.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of business research experience, with specialization in travel and tourism topics.
  • Exposure to tourism destination development and travel distribution topics is an added plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management, with a Master's degree in a related field a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in another European language.
  • Sound understanding of the European tourism sector and markets.
