Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Outcomes Research and Advocacy Manager to join our team at Almirall. This role will play a critical part in advancing our research and advocacy efforts in dermatology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research strategies to identify and address gaps in patient-reported outcomes in dermatology.
  • Collaborate with patient advocacy groups and scientific organizations to develop new and innovative endpoints for clinical trials and real-world evidence programs.
  • Represent Almirall as the main point of contact with international scientific and research organizations, engaging in peer-to-peer scientific discussions to develop projects and long-term collaborations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patient advocacy groups, identifying and mapping out key medical experts and organizations in the field of patient-reported outcomes and value-based medicine.
  • Lead the development of a patient group engagement and advocacy strategy at a corporate/global level, in collaboration with Global Medical Affairs, Global Sustainability, Global R&D, and Global Clinical Development teams.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Life Science, PhD level preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Medical Affairs/R&D setting, with proven experience in developing RWE&OR data.
  • Professional experience in Medical Expert Engagement/Patient Engagement or Advocacy, Public Affairs is highly preferred.
  • Strong scientific knowledge in the life sciences, with a focus on dermatology/immunology.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional global and local team environment.
