We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research to lead our strategic development and execution of health economics and outcomes research strategies. This role will be responsible for developing and building capabilities for Real World Evidence and Patient Reported Outcomes, and ensuring patient and stakeholder relevant endpoints and evidence generation strategies are implemented throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute health economics and outcomes research strategies to support the worldwide launch and reimbursement of products across a range of disease areas.
- Lead the Real World Evidence and Patient Reported Outcomes as a Center of Excellence to promote capabilities within the Rare Disease portfolio.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize evidence generation efforts and optimize launch and sustained reimbursement throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key experts, influencers, and customer segments to foster and maintain credibility to support the value and reimbursement of products.
- Deliver presentations on behalf of the company at various industry and scientific forums and/or contribute to publications.
- Contribute to the global Health Economics and Outcomes Research infrastructure to provide direction and guidance to Regional Health Economics and Outcomes Research and Country Medical teams.
- PhD or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years prior experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Real World Evidence, or Epidemiology in the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical industry.
- Thorough understanding of the field of Health Technology Assessment at a global level and experience of successful negotiations through the HTA processes.
- Extensive experience in Real World Evidence, both prospective and retrospective observational research.
- Expertise in Patient Reported Outcomes development, assessment, validation, and providing guidance on inclusion of PRO instruments in clinical trials.
- Knowledge of the global market access landscape and environment.
- Recognized as a strong leader with a proven track record of effectively managing, influencing, and developing people.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of effectiveness as a team player.
- Excellent oral/written communication, and presentation skills.
- Global mindset and ability to work with multicultural teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability to internal and external change.
