We are seeking an exceptional sales professional to join our team as a Regional Sales Development Manager. As a key member of our Iberian sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships in your assigned territory. Your primary goal will be to maximize sales and meet company targets while establishing strong partnerships with clients.
You will work closely with the Area Manager to set individual objectives and develop strategies to achieve them. Additionally, you will promote Aliaxis' group policy, generate initiatives, and encourage positive attitudes within your area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for a specific sales region, including distributor budget management
- Manage existing accounts, including large clients, and increase the number of customers in the region
- Generate cross-selling opportunities with other SPS organization departments and projects
- Collaborate with the project department on engineering offers
- Promote the Aliaxis brand and its entire portfolio
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-8 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a similar position
- Driving license required
- Basic English and professional Spanish proficiency
This role demands strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and experience in B2B manufacturing organizations. You should possess sound business knowledge and an understanding of sales, marketing, and commercial processes. A balance between determination and perseverance, along with empathy, is essential for engaging local buy-in and meeting customer needs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- ERP user experience (preferably SAP)
- A customer-centric approach, with a deep understanding of internal and external customers
- Strong drive, leadership, and influencing skills to facilitate change and drive results
- The ability to think strategically, embracing change, and translating it into innovative strategies for competitive advantage
Working Conditions:
You will spend most of your time on visits and continuous contact with clients, traveling extensively during client calls and business trips. You may attend corporate meetings, interact with various stakeholders, and engage in moderate physical activity when needed.
Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 per year, depending on experience
