David Kennedy Recruitment is partnering with a leading international company to recruit a Business Development Manager for their Barcelona office.Position: Business Development Manager Location: Barcelona, Spain Employment type: Full-time Estimated salary:$45,000 - $60,000 per annum based on experience.

Duties and responsibilities include managing partner forecasting and performance by tracking tools, responsible for partner pipeline management, detecting new opportunities, and driving successful and profitable deal closure. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of partners to develop their sales growth and margin, understand the partner market and competition, evaluate reseller interest, define resellers target of wallet, growth rate, program qualification/certification, identify gaps, and define actions to close gaps. Additionally, they will educate partner sales forces on products and solutions, create partner loyalty, ensure partners take advantage of promotions, events, and programs, drive revenue, and support them in closing big deals. Other key responsibilities include orchestrating internal resources to support partner-driven joint revenues, utilizing success-leveraging methods, attending country partner events, and reviewing account activities for new business and upselling opportunities.

Requirements

The successful candidate must be native/fluent in Spanish both verbally and written, fluent in English (at least B2 level), and possess minimum 2 years' related technical sales experience. Working in a channel environment, knowledge of partners and distributors is considered an advantage. Familiarity with channel programs, solid knowledge of sales CRMs, and Microsoft Office package are also essential. Furthermore, they should demonstrate innovation, good judgment/problem-solving skills, excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as being target/goal-oriented with a sound business acumen and commercial mindset.
