The Opportunity: We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payment Operations Associate, Pay-Ins to manage and optimize the payment process in Flywire. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless fund movement and reconciliation across global accounts, building strong relationships with partners, and identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will be able to identify incoming payments against customer requests, reconcile accounting entries for our Global accounts, conduct daily follow-up on unsolved processing issues, and support both the Payment Operations, Payouts, and Customer Support Teams.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Identify and match incoming payments against customer requests
  • Reconciliation of accounting entries for our Global accounts
  • Daily follow-up with unsolved processing issues
  • Support the Americas desk from Spain if necessary
  • Understand the process flow of payment partners and control settlements from our partners
  • Payer KYC

  • 1-2 years experience in the Banking/Payments industry
  • Fluency in English (required); other languages are a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build processes and identify inefficiencies and potential risks
  • Working knowledge of Excel, online tools (Google Apps, Salesforce, etc.)
