YOUR TASKS

As a Grid Connection Specialist at Nordex, you will be responsible for ensuring that our wind turbines comply with the latest grid code requirements. This involves analyzing and evaluating grid code requirements and standards, ensuring that there is no requirement without a test case. You will also be responsible for transferring and translating grid code requirements to the software development process, abstracting software requirements and test cases as a member of an agile software development process.

YOUR PROFILE

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering and power systems, with experience in grid code requirements and defining test cases. You will also need to have good knowledge of grid code compliance on power plant level and software details to achieve this. Ideally, you will have experience with a wind turbine OEM or similar. You will also need to have programming experience in Python or similar, supporting test analysis and automatization.
