Job Summary

Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Grid Connection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our wind turbines comply with grid code requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and evaluating grid code requirements and standards to ensure compliance
  • Translating grid code requirements into software development processes
  • Developing internal product specifications for grid code compliance
  • Defining test plans for grid code compliance and quality assurance
  • Performing and evaluating grid code compliance tests
  • Specifying new functions and features to maintain grid code compliance
  • Collaborating with working groups, committees, and utilities to clarify grid code requirements

Requirements

  • M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or similar
  • Experience with grid code requirements and defining test cases
  • Good knowledge of grid code compliance on power plant level and software details
  • Programming experience in Python or similar
  • Self-responsible, structured, customer and solution-oriented working mindset
  • Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively with teams
  • Fluent English spoken and written, Spanish and/or German a plus
