Junior Account Strategist, Nordics and Benelux

About the Role:
Criteo is seeking a highly skilled Account Strategist to join our Emerging Benelux & Nordics team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the continued expansion of our business in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide operational account management to small to medium-sized advertisers, growing revenue and optimizing accounts to improve performance for the client.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with small to medium-sized clients at all levels, from Traffic Manager to CMO.
• Advise on client's digital strategy and educate advertisers on Criteo's technology across channels and devices, articulating recommendations to different stakeholders within the client company.
• Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to drive business growth.
Performance Analysis:
• Optimize accounts to improve performance for small to medium-sized clients and identify growth opportunities.
• Provide consultative guidance on market challenges and recommended solutions to overcome those.
• Proactively anticipate and reduce the likelihood of possible client churn.
• Provide market knowledge to support client development on a long-term basis.
Demonstrate Upselling Capacity:
• Show effective and impactful negotiation skills that positively impact your book of business.
• Utilize a consultative approach to upsell new solutions, understanding client objectives and pitching relevant solutions connected to their short-term business plans.
Strategic Portfolio Growth:
• Inspire client growth by promoting innovative cross-channel perspectives.
• Create successful campaigns aligned with client objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions in our CRM.
Project Involvement:
• Manage side projects impacting individual book of business or team, driving them with support from team lead/manager/peer.
Learning and Growth:
• Be open to coaching and mentoring by peers with experience working with larger clients.
• Proactively work on developing strengths.
Requirements:
• Business acumen to handle a multitasking environment where prioritization is key.
• Strong knowledge of core Microsoft Office applications.
• Passion for new media, internet trends, and continual learning.
• Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasive skills across all levels.
• Ability to act as a consultant and be reactive in front of any potential situations.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail to explore product performances and explain recommendations made.
• Proven sales and client service track record, ideally in a tech or marketing-related field.
• Strong commercial experience required, ideally both remote (virtual) and in-person.
• Business fluency in English, both spoken and written, with Dutch or a Nordic language being a plus.
