Senior Account Strategist, Nordics and Benelux

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Strategist to join our Emerging Benelux & Nordics team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the expansion of our business in the region, working closely with a fantastic international team and being rewarded for excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational account management to small to medium-sized advertisers, growing revenue and optimizing accounts to improve performance for the client.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with small to medium-sized clients at all levels, from Traffic Manager to CMO.
- Advise on client's digital strategy, educating advertisers on Criteo's technology across channels and devices, and articulating this to different stakeholders within the client company.
- Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to drive client growth and engagement.
- Optimize accounts to improve performance for small to medium-sized clients and identify growth opportunities.
- Provide consultative guidance on market challenges and recommended solutions to overcome those.
- Proactively anticipate and reduce the likelihood of possible client churn.
- Provide the client with market knowledge to support their development on a long-term basis.
- Show effective and impactful negotiation skills that have a positive impact on your book of business.
- Use a consultative approach to upsell new solutions, understanding client objectives and pitching relevant solutions connected to their short-term business plans.
- Inspire the growth of your clients by promoting innovative cross-channel perspectives.
- Create successful campaigns in line with client objectives.
- Successfully keep all relevant information from interactions with your clients in our CRM.
- Manage side projects that have an impact on individual book of business or team, driving those with support from team lead/manager/peer.
- Be open to coaching and mentoring by peers who have experience working with larger clients.
- Proactively work on developing your strengths.
- Business sense to handle a multitasking environment where prioritization is key.
- Strong knowledge of all core MS Office applications.
- Passion for new media, internet trends, and continual learning.
- Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasive skills across all levels.
- Ability to act as a consultant and be reactive in front of any potential situations.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail to explore product performances and explain any recommendations made.
- Proven sales and client service track record, ideally in a tech or marketing-related field.
- Strong commercial experience required, ideally both remote (virtual) and in-person.
- Business fluent in English - both spoken and written, and Dutch or a Nordic language would be a plus.
