About the Role

As a Delivery Station Manager at Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U., you will be responsible for leading a team of Area Managers to drive operational excellence and ensure seamless delivery of packages to our customers. Your site will be the beating heart of our logistics operations, and you will be instrumental in creating a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of Area Managers to achieve top-level results
  • Own your site, addressing issues and positively impacting site performance
  • Analyze site performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence
  • Collaborate with support teams, including PxT, Finance, DSP, IT, ACES, and Engineering units
  • Design and deliver initiatives to improve operational performance across sites
A Day in the Life

You will have ultimate ownership of your Delivery Station, leading teams, tracking site performance, and continuously seeking ways to enhance the customer experience. This means being close to day-to-day operations while contributing to innovative solutions.

About the Team

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) handles last-mile delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We leverage creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver millions of physical products to our customers. Our goal is to provide a smooth delivery experience and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, such as Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.

Our team is people-focused and supportive, particularly as many of our associates work through the night. We focus on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations. Meanwhile, our 'on the road' team works with Amazon Flex, a network of delivery contractors. We continually raise the bar for customer experience with new, innovative delivery services, overcoming industry-wide logistics challenges and reducing our carbon footprint with cutting-edge vehicles and technology.

Requirements
  • A degree
  • Relevant experience in successful people and stakeholder management
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
  • Relevant experience in key areas of production and supply chains

Preferred qualifications include experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, as well as experience working with the MS Office suite in a professional environment.
