About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Dronetalks. As a key member of our Settlement Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute bank orders for collection and settlement of funds according to scheduled calendars and IATA financial policies.
  • Perform matching activities, monitor bank statements, and follow up on discrepancies as required.
  • Prepare and take action on exception reports, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Prepare Hinge Account Reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and execution of necessary actions to clear open balances.
  • Prepare external reporting for customers, providing clear and concise financial information.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal reporting for IATA management, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
  • Prepare and update Settlement Operations user guides, including country-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Service department to attend to customer queries related to operations.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in treasury and/or finance-related matters.
  • Strong PC skills, particularly in MS Office, Excel, and Access.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of another language is an advantage.
  • Relevant Aviation Industry Experience is a plus.
  • Customer focus, learning agility, planning and organizing, attention to detail, teamwork, cultural intelligence, and good communication skills.
