We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Importante empresa. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, including invoicing, accounts payable, and intercompany transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the invoicing process, including generation and distribution of invoices, and collaborate with the team to reduce invoicing issues.
  2. Manage accounts payable, including preparation of payments to suppliers, vendors, and consultants, and ensure segregation of duties.
  3. Oversee intercompany transactions, including goods and services, and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  4. Manage the JD Edwards Address Book, including creation of customers, vendors, agents, and allocation of customers to agents.
  5. Coordinate rebate agreements, including monthly accruals and settlements.
  6. Manage travel expenses, including distribution of forms, collection of complete forms, and preparation of payments.
  7. Support office management and health and safety measures, including liaison with H&S consultants.
  8. Manage the company car fleet.
  9. Handle agent commissions, including distribution of monthly sales, invoice receipt, verification, and payment preparation.
  10. Prepare and submit statistics to the National Statistics Institute (INE).
  11. Support audit works and assist the Finance Manager as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Studies in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in a finance department in multinational organizations.
  3. Intermediate user of English.
  4. Advanced user of MS Office tools, with JD Edwards experience a plus.
  5. Proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  6. Ability to prioritize activities.
  7. Excellent time-management and communication skills.
