Position Summary
As a Senior Account Executive, your primary role will be to cultivate relationships and secure new business opportunities with online brands and retailers, particularly in the DACH region. We provide a suite of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions designed to elevate the online presence and sales of brands and retailers, encompassing leading marketplaces like Amazon and Zalando, alongside digital marketing platforms such as Google and Instagram.
This position is ideal for a skilled closer who thrives in a strategic, consultative sales environment. You will oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting and establishing connections with key decision-makers to conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and finalizing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and expand the customer base by generating new revenue from both new leads and existing clients, focusing on SMB clients with revenues up to $50 million.
- Develop a self-sourced pipeline to continuously enhance the business portfolio.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential clients.
- Lead in-person client presentations, including discovery sessions, product showcases, and proposal submissions.
- Engage with prospects to identify their unique challenges and craft compelling business cases to address their needs, while providing valuable feedback to marketing, product, and customer success teams.
- Utilize Salesforce data to forecast and manage your sales activities effectively, driving pipeline growth to meet revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal product teams, offering insights from frontline experiences to influence future product development.
- Work closely with your Manager to align revenue strategies with the overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales.
- Experience in eCommerce, AdTech/Digital marketing, or MarTech SaaS sales, specifically targeting brands and retailers.
- Proven track record in selling complex SaaS solutions with sales cycles of at least 3 months and average order values of at least £30k.
- Ability to independently identify prospects, generate leads, and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Proficient in providing accurate and timely sales forecasts.
- Strong relationship-building skills in a growth-oriented environment.
