Regional Vice President, Financial Services Transformation Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Vice President to lead our Financial Services sales team in Iberia and LATAM. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and managing the sales team to achieve booking targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Sales Activities: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  2. Accountable for Sales Results: Oversee the sales performance of your team and ensure they meet their targets.
  3. Territory Management: Collaborate with the leadership team to define territories, assign quotas, and determine target accounts.
  4. Mentorship and Coaching: Provide guidance and support to your team members to help them achieve their sales goals.
  5. Customer Relationship Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from lead to sale, delivery, and fulfillment.
  6. Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers in our prospect and customer base.
  7. Strategy and Tactical Discussions: Engage in regular discussions with your team and other stakeholders to ensure Appian is well-positioned to win in the market.
  8. Team Success: Ensure your team is successful in all aspects of their job responsibilities, including software revenue, relationship building, pipeline building, and forecast accuracy.
  9. Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills and maintain excellent relationships with other departments within Appian.
Requirements
  1. Enterprise Sales Experience: Proven track record of quota-carrying sales experience in large, complex organizations.
  2. Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead teams/sales organizations through periods of change.
  3. Network and Experience: Extensive network in the consultancy market with a proven track record of working with large consultancies.
  4. Management Skills: Strong management skills, including strategy and tactical planning, territory decisioning, pricing, proposing, negotiating, and more.
  5. Solution Selling Methodology: Working knowledge of consultative solution selling methodology and practice.
  6. Industry Experience: Extensive banking industry experience is essential, while having sold into the insurance market would be highly advantageous.
