Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team at Hella. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and supervising the accounting and tax activities, ensuring the integrity of financial information and compliance with Spanish tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts reconciliation, financial record accuracy, and transaction reporting.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Support the preparation of financial analyses and reports, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Group Controlling Department to ensure alignment with company-wide financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or Chief Accountant with at least 5 years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax laws, with knowledge of IFRS GAAP a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and experience with SAP ERP a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
