About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to provide support to our financial department by managing and supervising accounting and tax activities. Reporting to the local Head of Finance, you will work as part of a Finance Team and collaborate with Group Controlling Department.

1. Accounting Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting information.
2. Day-to-Day Accounting: Coordinate and execute day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts reconciliation, to ensure financial records are accurate.
3. Balance Sheet and General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
4. Month-End and Year-End Close: Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
5. AP & AR: Support on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, performing supplier invoice validation and cancellation control in coordination with Shared Service Center team.
6. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Spanish tax regulations, managing indirect tax filings timely and meeting all local compliance requirements.
7. Accounting Analyses and Reports: Prepare monthly accounting analyses and reports.
8. Internal Controls: Design, document, implement, and execute internal controls to ensure transactions and balances are accurately reported.
9. Audit Preparations: Assist with annual audit preparations, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
10. Compliance and Efficiency: Ensure acceptable levels of internal and external controls are compliance with all group and local regulations, and develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures to maximize impact and efficiency.

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
2. Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant for at least 5 years.
3. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax laws, and knowledge of IFRS GAAP.
4. Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS EXCEL, strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills, and fluency in English and Spanish.
5. Additional Requirements: Experience in SAP ERP (nice-to-have), result-oriented, analytical skills, and very well organized.
