About the Role

Ryanair is seeking a highly skilled SAP Payroll Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our IT Labs Team, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into system requirements and ensuring operational stability in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert for SuccessFactors, engaging with the SuccessFactors Community and user groups to ensure we are getting the most out of current and future SuccessFactors capabilities.
  • Requirements Analysis: Translate business requirements into system requirements, design specifications, and document new and/or existing application requirements.
  • Change Management: Manage the process of change, including required changes to existing SuccessFactors configuration and integrations, and creating new ones based on business needs.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues, providing timely and accurate solutions.
  • System Upgrades and Enhancements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage system upgrades and enhancements, conduct testing, and ensure a smooth transition to new functionalities.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Contribute to the strategic roadmap for global IT initiatives, working with senior leadership and key stakeholders to support organizational strategic objectives.
  • Adoption and Optimization: Drive adoption, optimization, and transformation, ensuring we are fully leveraging SuccessFactors to meet strategic business and talent needs.
  • Business Partnership: Partner with business teams to understand their needs and requirements, make recommendations for solutions, and roadmap and prioritize implementation.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure configuration and integrations are efficient, compliant, and accurate.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a functional analyst for SAP HCM payroll/ECP or equivalent payroll such as ADP/Globalview.
  • Payroll Knowledge: In-depth payroll process knowledge, including knowledge of tax calculations, is a prerequisite.
  • Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of integration between ECP Employee Central Payroll, Employee Central, SAP ECC, and non-SAP systems.
  • Design and Implementation: Hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions per business requirements.
  • Analysis and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze extensive and complex ranges of data, information, processes, and system solutions to produce effective and efficient business solutions.
  • Employee Life Cycle Management: Good understanding of Employee Life Cycle Management process in global organizations.
  • System Configuration: Translate Business requirements into System Configuration Objects and create Solution Design for SuccessFactors Employee Management Solution in compliance with Best Practices.
  • Personal Qualities: A perfectly well-organized character, fast and flexible with an eye for detail, committed to the project and to your colleagues.
  • Communication and Presentation: Solid communication and presentation skills.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Proactive and independent, a team player by nature, fluent in English (both spoken and written).
  • Learning and Development: Analytical skills and strong learning ability – agility and willingness to acquire new competencies and adapt quickly to new tasks and environments.
Nice to Have
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience managing configurations and confidential data with the SAP SuccessFactors ECP module.
  • Integration Experience: Previous exposure to the integration aspect of SAP SuccessFactors.
  • SAP Cloud Integration: Knowledge and experience with SAP Cloud Integration.
  • ABAP Code: Able to read and write ABAP Code.
  • SAP HR/ECP Certification: SAP HR/ECP Certification.
  • Payroll/Time Schemas: Ability to analyze and modify payroll/time schemas and rules.
  • Master's Degree: Master degree in Business Administration or IT Management.
