Research Assistant in Biosensors for Bioengineering Research Group

About the Position:
The Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is seeking an Early Stage Researcher to join our Biosensors for Bioengineering Research Group. As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in the development of 3D skeletal muscle tissue integrated within microfluidic organ-on-chip devices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and characterize 3D tissue co-cultures of skeletal muscle tissues from patient-derived cells.
- Design and fabricate microfluidic devices.
- Integrate the platform to drug testing assays.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in cell culture and molecular biology.
- Experience in microfabrication techniques is a plus.
- Experience in microphysiological systems and tissue engineering is a plus.
