About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Economic and Financial Consultant to join our team at FTI Consulting. As a key member of our Economic and Financial Consulting (EFC) practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate complex economic and financial issues.

Our EFC practice is a global leader in delivering incisive interpretation of complex economic issues. We work with a diverse range of clients, including international law firms, global conglomerates, FTSE 100 companies, governments, and regulators. Our team includes economists, accountants, valuation professionals, MBAs, and econometricians who draw on a diverse set of skills to answer a wide range of economic and financial questions.

As an Economic and Financial Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert analysis and advice on economic and financial issues to our clients
  • Developing and implementing strategic solutions to complex economic and financial problems
  • Collaborating with our team of experts to deliver high-quality services to our clients
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest economic and financial trends and developments

What We Do

Our EFC practice has significant expertise in the valuation of businesses, intellectual property, financial products, and other assets. We are the leading firm in the provision of expert evidence on valuation issues and the quantification of economic losses before courts and tribunals all around the world. We also provide valuation services for commercial, reporting, and regulatory purposes, for example, in the context of licensing, investment appraisal, fiscal valuation, and transfer pricing.

Some examples of our recent projects include:

  1. Quantifying the effect of regulatory changes in the solar power industry: We were engaged by a number of investors in solar power plants to assess the economic justification for changes to regulatory regimes that defined how their facilities were paid, and to quantify the impact of the changes on the value of their investments in those facilities.
