About the Role

As a Senior Vendor Manager, you will act as the 'business owner' for your category, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your business. You will be responsible for forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on business performance, as well as driving projects and promotions to achieve business objectives.

You will also manage all key vendor relationships in your category, including supplier/partner contracts, day-to-day relationships, and negotiation of necessary funding. Additionally, you will understand industry trends, seasonality, and competitor developments, and continually monitor these factors to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the business owner for your category, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your business
  • Manage all key vendor relationships in your category, including supplier/partner contracts, day-to-day relationships, and negotiation of necessary funding
  • Understand industry trends, seasonality, and competitor developments, and continually monitor these factors to inform business decisions
  • Identify selection expansion opportunities and work with partner teams to onboard new brands to Amazon
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in Italian and experience working in a similar environment
  • Excel experience and strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional experience
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions and driving internal cross-team collaboration
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL is a plus

We estimate the salary for this position to be around €70,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
