About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Executive Country Manager to lead our business in Spain. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced environment and drive growth in one of our largest markets.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have full P&L responsibility and ownership of business objectives in Spain. They will lead and develop a team of 200+ individuals, oversee multiple departments, and devise the long-term strategy for the country.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Hiring top talent, helping them perform, grow, and develop as professionals
  • Analysing business and financial data to take key decisions for the country
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with CEOs of top restaurant companies, retailers, CPG, and financial institutions
  • Getting into details, deep-diving, and problem-solving to make things happen together with the team
  • Developing new business opportunities, anticipating issues, and improving processes
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in fast-paced environments (startups, investment banking, top consulting firms, top internet firms)
  • Experience leading +100 people cross-functional teams, hiring senior management, and being involved in reorganizations
  • Led negotiations of multi-million contracts and are comfortable building relationships with C-level executives from other organizations
  • Led P&L with full ownership and multiple departments, including operations, marketing, and core functions of a company
  • Capability of inspiring teams, including senior management with 10+ years of experience
  • Persuasive communication skills, with no trouble selling anything
  • Data-driven mentality, taking decisions based on data and making business judgments when necessary
