Our mobile app allows guests to navigate their stay effortlessly, from check-in to checkout. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality operations and is committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The Role

We are seeking a Front Desk Hospitality Agent who will be the face of Sonder. This versatile role involves interacting with guests, creatively solving problems, and delivering exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will be a people person who loves working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to extending hospitality to all.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Guest Experience
  • Be the face of Sonder and create an exceptional first impression on our guests, visitors, and partners.
  • Guide guests through the Sonder experience, ensuring they make the most of their stay by engaging with the Sonder app and self-service features.
  • Communicate with guests in-person and through digital communication systems to anticipate and address their needs.
Problem-Solving and Guest Service
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest quality of service and professionalism.
  • Own guest issues to resolution and accommodate requests whenever possible.
Property Maintenance and Organization
  • Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of both guest-facing and back-of-house working spaces.
  • Contribute to a welcoming and efficient environment for both guests and team members.
Support and Collaboration
  • Flexibly support the back-of-house team on a day-to-day basis as needs arise.
  • Assist market leadership with administrative tasks to keep all operations running smoothly.
Market Support
  • Support multiple Sonder properties throughout the local market, as required.

Requirements

  1. Experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in hotels, restaurants, or customer-facing hospitality, service, and/or customer experience roles.
Skills and Qualities
  • Personable, service-minded, and positive.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing guest needs.
  • Strong computer literacy and writing skills.
  • Organized, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
  • Flexible schedule and open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time and lift and/or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Language Proficiency
  • Proficiency in languages other than English is an asset.
