**Job Summary**

The Technical Vendor Manager is responsible for overseeing the critical path schedule of consultants, general contractors, and supply chain vendors to achieve increased value from our vendors in DC projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain the General Contractor Consultant Vendor Strategy in collaboration with the Procurement Team.
  • Establish technical capacity to develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to determine vendor performance.
  • Analyze vendor data to gain comprehensive insights and evaluate key metrics and KPIs against organizational targets for informed decision-making.
  • Develop a method to collect and sync feedback on Developer, General Contractors, Consultants, and supply chain vendors by monitoring performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist the Pre-construction Manager and Procurement during the tendering process.
  • Manage external vendors and support internal teams to ensure the delivery of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects safely, on time, and on cost.
  • Manage vendor claims and escalations, deep dive on technical details, and lead problem-resolution covering Amazon's interest, driving process improvements and lessons learned, keeping a productive relationship between the organization and the vendors.
  • Support leading critical path schedule items and escalate to leadership on potential risks and delays.
  • Be a business partner with the Procurement, Pre-Construction, and Construction teams, driving execution of commercial and technical deliverables.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong level of ownership, bias for action, and highly motivated individuals with Project/Contracts Management experience within the construction industry.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical to interlink vendor metrics and compare those against defined targeted KPIs.
  • Proven experience in the construction industry and a track record of delivering results in fast-paced and dynamic business environments while managing the sometimes conflicting needs of different groups of stakeholders.

**Travel Opportunities:**

The role will be based in Paris, Madrid, or Berlin with 25% of time traveling either domestically or to other EMEA countries.
