About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at PageGroup. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with appointed real estate brokers to identify and evaluate potential office locations, conduct due diligence, and progress from long-list to short-list for potential office move projects.
  • Develop and present business cases for projects, including detailed financial analysis and recommendations for new projects.
  • Collaborate with real estate brokers and legal partners to finalize lease agreements for offices in scope.
  • Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and scheduling, while managing the timeline from initiation to completion and occupation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure positive and collaborative working relationships and the achievement of cost and time objectives.
  • Monitor project status in terms of cost, quality, and planning, working closely with local project managers.
  • Manage project-related contracts and track orders, billing, and costing.
  • Coordinate weekly reports and updates on ongoing projects, including design progress, target cost, deadlines, and any technical issues.
  • Work with contractors and vendors to negotiate construction contracts and change orders.
  • Support and coordinate local project managers.
  • Oversee the purchase, coordination, and installation of furniture for PageGroup offices across Europe.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • A degree in a field relevant to construction project management, such as architecture or engineering.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, with expertise in delivering office fit-out projects.
  • Experience working with brokers to identify potential locations, conduct due diligence, and select preferred locations.
  • Expertise in producing business cases detailing stay vs go decision financials.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Previous experience delivering fit-outs on a European regional basis and working in an international firm is preferred.
  • Career plan with defined objectives.
