German Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled German Technical Support Agent to join our team at Newco Communications. As a Technical Support Agent, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients in the e-payments industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle first-line inbound technical support requests by phone, email, and tickets (B2B)
- Assist new customers with technical setup of their accounts
- Troubleshoot and investigate technical issues, such as technical setup of accounts, transaction statuses and errors, technical parameters, payment pages, and errors related to product integrations
- Ensure continuity of the merchant business by responding quickly and correctly
- Provide additional product information
- Maintain a strong customer relationship

Requirements

- Native-level proficiency in German language (both spoken and written) is essential
- Good knowledge of English language to effectively communicate with colleagues and handle customer interactions
- 1-2 years of work experience in technical support/customer service in a technical environment
- Tech-savvy: familiar with HTML, SQL, logs, Java, web design, coding, programming, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with customers and provide accurate information
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
- Proficiency in using computer systems and familiarity with different software applications
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate customer needs
