A challenging role is available within ABB's Electrification Business Line in Iberia for an Electrification Business Development Specialist. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team dedicated to driving service sales processes, generating opportunities and securing profitable sales within the installed base of customers.

This position reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager and offers a unique opportunity to showcase expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.
Responsibilities- Penetrate into the Installed Base (IB), promoting various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to benefit both customers and ABB.
- Understand the channel strategy and establish related prices, preparing sales plans, reviewing them, and proposing recovery plans when needed.
- Utilize the ServIS database to understand the existing installed base and identify sales opportunities for field services, retrofits, extensions, spare parts, digital maintenance contracts within the Smart Power and Distribution Solution Service.
- Act as a marketer/salesperson of ABB's service products and solutions during marketing activities such as campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of electrical solutions.
- Proficiency in medium and low voltage products in the industry and utilities markets.
- Previous experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems and/or data centers would be beneficial.
- Candidates should be passionate about collaboration and communication, with a solutions-oriented approach.
- An engineering degree in electrical or electronics.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, with Portuguese being highly valued.
- A current driver's license valid in Spain and a Spanish work permit.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around €55,000-€65,000 per year, considering the company, location, and job requirements. However, please note that this figure is based on our analysis and may not reflect the actual salary offered by ABB.
