We are establishing a Global Capability Center in Barcelona to support global commercial and functional teams. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Galderma as the Regional Training Lead, Commercial Excellence EMEAC. The role will report to the Commercial Excellence head EMEAC and work closely with Regional Business Units and markets to create and implement a comprehensive training blueprint for customer-facing teams.

The Regional Training Commercial Excellence Lead EMEAC is responsible for leading the overall regional strategy, development, and deployment of Sales Training for the Commercial Organization. The focus will be on developing Sales Capabilities across the markets that delivers exceptional product training and enhances selling skills, enabling sales professionals to achieve their full potential and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Learning Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive learning and development strategy for the Sales Force in the three business units, aligning with the organization's overall business objectives and sales goals. Define the roadmap for sales training programs, curricula, and learning initiatives, considering the diverse needs of regional sales teams.
  2. Curriculum Design: Define training journeys for different sales roles in the region, ensuring a strong onboarding and ongoing development for teams. Define the right deployment strategy through a mix of digital, class, and on-the-job training.
  3. Content Development: Collaborate with Global Franchises and the Region, instructional designers, and external vendors to design and develop engaging and impactful learning content for product training and selling skills development.
  4. Program Delivery and Execution: Implement and manage the delivery of sales training programs, utilizing a blend of learning methodologies and technologies, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, virtual classrooms, and interactive workshops.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales leaders, regional sales managers, and other key stakeholders to understand their training needs and challenges.
  6. Performance Measurement and Evaluation: Develop metrics and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of sales training programs.
  7. Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training resources and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field, with specialization in commercial excellence preferred.
  • Ten or more years of proven progressive commercial operations experience in the life sciences industry, including management and leadership roles with at least five years of experience in learning and development.
  • Solid comprehension of learning and development principles and methods for sales teams, as well as social persuasion techniques.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing successful sales training programs for a global organization.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000, depending on qualifications and location.
