About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team as a Managed Services Engineer in our Network Infrastructure department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for our clients' IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring that they remain operational and meet their service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain client infrastructure and solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Identify and resolve technical incidents and problems in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to clients' business operations.
  • Investigate and analyze incidents and problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide telephonic or chat support to clients as required, ensuring that their queries are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Execute approved maintenance activities, including patching and configuration changes, to ensure that clients' systems remain up-to-date and secure.
  • Follow established procedures for incident management, including reporting and escalation, to ensure that clients' SLAs are met.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for work optimization, including automation and process improvement, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues across different cultures and social groups.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide high-quality support to clients.
  • Strong technical skills in network infrastructure, including routing protocols, network management, and monitoring tools.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCNA or equivalent certification in network infrastructure.
  • Experience with network management and monitoring tools, including SecureCRT and Logic Monitor.
  • Knowledge of common network protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Experience with network security and ability to configure and monitor firewalls and access control lists.
