As a Sales Director, you'll play a critical role in managing our enterprise customer base. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, growing existing client relationships, and driving sales growth.

We're looking for a proactive and curious individual who can navigate complex sales cycles and develop consultative sales strategies. You'll work closely with our Sales and Solutions Architecture teams to drive business outcomes and contribute to the development of our sales process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and managing a pipeline of companies that can benefit from dbt Cloud
  • Deepening our impact in existing accounts and optimizing our footprint
  • Engaging with technology partners and ecosystem service providers to expand our reach
  • Leading and contributing to team projects that develop our sales process
  • Collaborating with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap

We're seeking someone with:

  • 4+ years of closing experience in technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and develop consultative sales strategies
  • Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Diligence and organizational skills to navigate long, intricate sales cycles
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment
  • Passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the community
  • Experience with SQL or willingness to learn
