Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our team at Sage Lake Senior Living. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our engineering software clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for engineering software clients, resolving incidents and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage and maintain workstations, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Install and configure engineering software, providing end-user support and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with the day-to-day operations team to ensure seamless support and maintenance of our IT systems.
  • Provide user support for other IT technologies, including hardware and software.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing tasks covering technical areas such as engineering software, Microsoft Windows technologies, and hardware.
  • Deep knowledge of technical areas, including configuration, administration, and support of workstations, laptops, and other shared resources in a network environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of administration and support of engineering software, such as CATIA, ANSYS, MATLAB, and Python.
  • Skills in technical data management, administration, and support of a PDM/PLM system.
  • Linux administration and HPC for numerical analysis.
