About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced German speaking Business Development Manager to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through targeted sales efforts.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing potential client opportunities via cold calling, email campaigns, and professional industry network groups.
- Responding to all incoming product enquiries, referrals, and leads in a timely and effective manner.
- Formatting tailor-made proposals to clients and organizing face-to-face or online product demonstrations and advanced training sessions.
- Maintaining a balance between optimal service, value for the client, and Lighthouse's profit margins through contract negotiation.
- Working closely with the team to build and adjust the vision for the sales team and developing innovative strategies to maximize results.
- Attending meetings, conferences, and organizing regional road shows as required.
What You Need:
- 1-3 years' experience in business development within a SaaS company, preferably direct sales experience.
- Experience in the hospitality tech space is highly desirable.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, Communication, Economics, or other relevant fields is a plus.
- Fluency in German and English is essential.
