Head of Sales Spain

At Alan, we're on a mission to empower individuals to take control of their physical and mental health. As our Head of Sales Spain, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our growth in this market, leading a high-performing sales team to achieve our ambitious goals.
About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced sales leader to own our sales strategy in Spain, driving recurring revenue and building a scalable go-to-market team. Your targets will be to achieve our customers and members growth yearly goals in Spain, while developing a high-performing sales team that can grow exponentially to become market leaders by 2030.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute sales strategies to drive recurring revenue on the Spanish market.
- Mentor and develop a team of 20+ sales professionals in a scalable model, enabling high growth on the market.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a highly performing and committed sales team in Spain, ensuring a progressive career path for the future.
- Continuously assess, clarify, and validate sales strategies and processes, tracking and measuring sales effectiveness and adjusting programs and strategies as necessary.
- Contribute to key strategic deals, involved in the process to maximize performance.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product to maximize the impact of lead generation, content, and feedback loops on products.
- Work closely with the sales ops team to maximize sales efficiency (tooling, processes, business monitoring).
- Work cross-functionally internally to ensure messaging alignment, operational coordination, and evangelization of the strategy.
- Work closely with the Spain GM and other stakeholders to articulate our global go-to-market approach and create synergies with other countries on all business lines.
We're looking for a seasoned sales leader with:
Significant experience in sales team leadership and coaching.A strong background in sales within challenging environments (complex problems to solve and decision processes in highly competitive markets).Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and managing uncertainty.Experience in scaling sales teams at a high pace (X2, X3) or building sales teams from scratch.Experience with deployment of proven sales methodologies (Value Selling, Challenger Sale, Consultative Sale).Passionate about understanding and solving prospects' problems.Ability to animate a large community of sales people.Experience in collaborating with internal teams (e.g. Strategy, Sales Ops, Marketing, Product, Operations, HR, etc.).Good B2B marketing culture to help build a strong B2B brand.Strong written & verbal communication skills (English & Spanish).Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills.Strong data skills and desire to learn fast and make an impact from day 1.Perks & BenefitsWe believe that being in good health is a basic need, and it starts with our employees.
