Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Specialist to join our team at Pig Improvement Company. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing professional service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Work closely with customers to ensure the optimal performance of our products and services, focusing on biological and financial outcomes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor customer performance levels and identify opportunities for improvement, working collaboratively with the commercial team to develop targeted plans.
  • Value Creation: Develop comprehensive plans and initiatives with the team to create value for customers through our products, technology, and services.
  • Technical Updates: Provide regular technical updates and tailored customer service plans to support the sales and supply chain teams.
  • Genetic Potential: Help customers realize the full genetic potential of our products.
  • Biosecurity Protocols: Ensure adherence to our Biosecurity protocols at all times.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain the highest standards of conduct in dealing with customers, employees, and industry partners.
Requirements
  • A 5-year university education or equivalent in an animal science related field, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in intensive swine production systems.
  • Ability to evaluate performance and financial information, making informed decisions regarding opportunities in customer and partner operations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, with English language proficiency essential.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to train, lead, and influence others to perform at a high level, with a willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40-50%.
