We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Hewlett Packard. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in connecting experts with customers to understand their needs and present the latest end-to-end Graphic Arts solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Share expertise and practical knowledge of HP's Graphics Solutions Business technology and product portfolio to PSPs, brands, marketing agencies, and converters to highlight the power and added value of HP's digital printing solutions.
- Customer Support: Be the technical focal and reference point for any questions related to media, printing, Primers, HP Indigo technology, and finishing towards customers as well as inside the HP organization.
- Market Understanding: Develop new applications and drive the transformation from conventional to digital printing, leveraging your understanding of the printing market.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that all customers have a pleasant experience visiting and working with the Experience Center employees, deploying a total customer experience.
- Sample Request Management: Take end-to-end ownership of Sample Request (preparation, printing, finishing, shipping, reporting).
- Operational Tasks: Operate printing equipment, finish jobs with the adequate finishing equipment, and report each activity related to customers.
- Reference and Expertise: Be a digital print reference and show finishing and media expertise.
- Initiative and Ownership: Work under own initiative and take ownership of issues, ensuring best in class support to partners and customers.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement and deploy new set processes for performance improvements.
- Problem-Solving: Apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and recommend appropriate alternative solutions.
- Quality and Adherence: Adhere to 5S standards for machine and workplace maintenance, as well as the Company's Quality and Business Processes.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess a strong knowledge of finishing solutions and media, experience with priming and varnishing processes and equipment, and knowledge of Digital Embellishment.
- Teamwork and Communication: Be a team player and stress resistant, with fluency in English and another main European language, and basic knowledge in DTP (Adobe CC).
- Education: University degree or professional studies in Graphics.
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience in the Printing industry.
- Skills: Customer focused, very high communication and presentation skills, high ability to learn with a problem-solving attitude, quality driven and self-motivated.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of finishing solutions and media, experience with priming and varnishing processes and equipment, and knowledge of Digital Embellishment.
- Language: Fluency in English and another main European language is mandatory.
