Job Title:

Commercial Director for European MarketsLabcorp is a leading global life sciences company that provides innovative diagnostic solutions to improve health and improve lives.


Job Summary:
The Commercial Director for European Markets will be responsible for identifying and shaping opportunities for our continued growth within European territories.

This role will involve selling Real-World Data (RWD) solutions that enable clinical trials through optimizing protocol design, patient recruitment, and other solutions/services developed.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for selling de-identified RWD through our Marketplace Partnerships and RWD Insights developed using analytical techniques by Labcorp or with partners.


Key Responsibilities:

Achieve account portfolio relationship building goalsGrow market share of existing service linesOptimize new service line launchIdentify and build relationships with executive targets and key decision makers in Pharma/Life Sciences accountsMaintain frequent personal contact with clientsParticipate in bid defense and/or capabilities meetingsSell the business unit's capabilities and differentiation frameworksLiaise with Scientific Leadership and Marketing to target scientific input that adds value to account strategy and deepens Labcorp's scientific perception within accountsCollaborate with RWD Products team and participate in RWD Products operational meetings to develop concepts, strategies, and define servicesStrong understanding of strengths and limitations of different real-world data sources and ability to apply this in solution recommendations that effectively address customer challengesCreate and manage robust and strategic account plans, including actionable account strategiesAccountable for communicating account plans, modifications, and account activityUse SFDC to manage internal communication and document territory and client information as requiredParticipate in proposal scope development as appropriateRequirements:5-7 years of relevant client-facing experience selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech sector with direct interaction with mid-level and executive-level decision makersRWD/RWE and outcomes research knowledge and sales experience preferredComfortable discussing Real-world data, clinical trial, and research concepts with Biopharma customers and physician stakeholdersPublic health, industry, life sciences background and experienceWorking knowledge of analytics and modelingStrategic thinker with ability to identify client needsAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedAbility to work with cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to leadExecutive presence with successful presentation and communication capabilitiesAbility to travel 50-70%Ability to participate in some overnight travel for client visits, sales events, and trade showsEducation:Bachelor's degree in the life sciences is preferredLabcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
