About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our global 'Universal Marketplace' organization as Head of Marketplace. This is a key role within our Aftermarket Division, responsible for driving strategic business goals, influencing purchasing decisions, and growing our registered workshop customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global 'Universal Marketplace' organization, developing and executing a business plan to position ZF as an orchestrator of workshop digitalization and commerce.
  • Build, manage, and refine the global 'Universal Marketplace' business unit, with a focus on clear USP, full-coverage listings, CX-optimized, and AI-driven digital products.
  • Monitor and improve business and financial performance, internationalize and scale Marketplace across several regions and countries, and initiate key business and marketplace improvement initiatives.
  • Represent the universal marketplace in the public domain and within the ZF Group.
  • Plan and forecast Marketplace performance based on advanced analytics and results monitoring.
  • Lead a high-performing Universal Marketplace team, operating with a growth and team-first mindset, with clearly defined roles, career paths, succession plans, and employee success strategies.

Requirements

  • University degree, ideally MBA, or similar degree, or extensive experience in similar roles.
  • Strong leadership skills, proven experience in leading large teams to high performance in new and digital markets, and a proven track record of managing ventures and M&A's.
  • Expert knowledge and thought leadership in digital marketplace and e-Commerce.
  • Customer-centric attitude, based on outside-in perspective, and strong knowledge of the automotive market, especially workshop aftermarket.
  • Highly analytical, with an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to build data-informed business strategies with a clear sense of purpose, execution, and delivery.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket and network in the Aftermarket would be a plus.
  • High influencing and impacting skills, and the ability to manage a global organization, with strong change management skills, focusing on leading disruption and managing required organizational transformation, as well as talent development.
  • The ability to set clear and challenging goals, while committing the organization to improved performance, and being accountable, tenacious, and relentless about driving results.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, with the ability to adapt nimbly, lead others, communicate clearly, and create solutions through complex situations.
