About the Role
Vestas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our global procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of commodity strategies across modules, creating and capturing end-to-end value, and managing supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deploy procurement strategies
- Drive the standardization of processes within the procurement department
- Develop and implement sustainable procurement practices
- Manage tender processes, bid development, and subcontract negotiations
- Develop and maintain a high-performing supplier portfolio
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in subcontracting and purchasing mechanical and electrical works
- Experience in project-based purchasing and pre-contract bid management, category management, and supplier relationship management
- Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages are valued
