About the Location:

The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is a stunning property located on the Formentor Peninsula, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding landscapes. Originally opened in 1929 as a private estate, this historic property is currently undergoing restoration and renovation and is scheduled to reopen as a Four Seasons resort in the near future.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Luxury F&B Operations Manager to join our pre-opening team at the Four Seasons Resort Mallorca. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the daily Food and Beverage operation, ensuring seamless execution of high-quality dining experiences for our guests.

Job Description:

As a Luxury F&B Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining an elegantly appointed environment that consistently meets our high standards
  • Maintaining a friendly and attentive demeanor when interacting with guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience
  • Succinctly managing the dining room, including reservations, seating, and table management
  • Ensuring accurate and consistent service techniques across various meal periods
  • Anticipating and managing supplies, equipment, and resources to maintain seamless operations
  • Observing and reporting on physical facilities and equipment, making recommendations for improvements as needed
  • Fostering effective communication and collaboration with other departments to ensure a cohesive team effort
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for all employees within the restaurant, responding promptly to emergencies and completing incident reports
  • Promoting good public relations, handling guest complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Displaying in-depth knowledge of food and beverage items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and proper service techniques
  • Expertise in wines and spirits is a must
  • Attending and participating in required meetings, contributing valuable insights and ideas
  • Promoting teamwork, encouraging a harmonious working climate, and actively participating in staff training and development programs
  • Assisting with inventory management, direct sales tracking, and restaurant-specific tasks
  • Providing exceptional support to the Restaurant Assistant Manager, assuming responsibility for the restaurant during their absence
  • Performing additional tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in Spanish and English
  • 1-2 years of relevant restaurant experience, preferably in luxury hotels, with a focus on Food and Beverage service
  • In-depth knowledge of service standards and practices
  • Computer literacy

Schedule and Hours:

This full-time contract requires 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday. All candidates must have the legal right to work in Spain and fluency in English and Spanish.
