Job Overview

Mars (New) is seeking a skilled Category Growth Specialist to drive sales acceleration and category growth in the Iberian region. This role will be responsible for gathering and implementing market research, analyzing qualitative and quantitative market data, and creating value propositions and action plans to drive category growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and implement market research to analyze qualitative and quantitative market data, including Nielsen, VMS, KA sellout, shopper & consumer insights
  • Create value propositions and action plans to drive category growth and adapt trade marketing activity accordingly
  • Leverage key sales analytics and shopper insights to build sales acceleration programs in collaboration with marketing, sales & customer service teams
  • Support KAMs in developing business strategies to increase market share in top customers, including promotional plans, portfolio, planograms, layouts, and category and marketing projects

Requirements:

  • Higher University degree, preferably in Marketing or ADE
  • 5+ years experience in Category Management/Sales, preferably in FMCG
  • Use of Category management tools
  • Ability to create strong relationships across internal departments & external partners
  • Proficiency in Office (Excel & Power Point)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Business travel is required

Salary Range: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience
