Finance Professional with Excellent Customer Service Skills

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Professional to join our DACH collection team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer relations, investigating issues, and clarifying mismatching payments with customers.
Your primary objective will be to reduce the number of days our invoices are unpaid and maintain the quality of ageing of invoices. To achieve this, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to negotiate effectively with customers. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have experience working in a finance environment.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and prior experience in customer service and credit collections. You should be fluent in German (native level) and English, with any additional language skills being a plus. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer relations and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Investigate and clarify mismatching payments with customers.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers as needed.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Meet targets for reducing days sales outstanding and maintaining the quality of ageing of invoices.
