About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Portfolio Development Director to lead our product development execution and champion the development of our TMS suite, data analytics, tendering, and other tools. As a key member of our team, you will transform our interconnected logistics vision into reality and industry-leading solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (such as Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success) and the Product Management and Solution teams to gather and compile product development requests.
  2. Prioritization and Planning: Evaluate and prioritize development requests based on strategic business objectives and resource availability. Facilitate planning sessions and decision-making processes to align on priorities.
  3. Program Oversight: Oversee the progress of product development projects, ensuring milestones are met and adjustments are made as necessary. Maintain clear and detailed visibility into the statuses of all requests and ongoing projects.
  4. Release Management: Coordinate with Product Managers and Engineers to align on release schedules and ensure timely delivery of features. Act as a Release Train Manager in line with the SAFe framework to facilitate seamless release execution.
  5. Communication: Ensure all stakeholders are kept informed of project statuses, potential risks, and decision points through regular updates and structured communication channels.
  6. Negotiation and Influence: Utilize strong negotiation skills and assertiveness to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts.
  7. Leadership and Management: Use experience, skills, and knowledge to build and optimize internal processes and tools within the Product and Solutions team together with the Product Managers and Tech leads.

Requirements
  1. 8+ years' experience working in Program/Project management leadership roles, in a technology environment, preferably for a SAAS, marketplace or e-commerce platform.
  2. Excellent Program/Project management skills from prioritization, capacity planning, conflict resolution, dependency management to stakeholder management and c-level reporting.
  3. Strong leadership skills, ability to manage cross-functional teams, team spirit and collaboration-minded.
  4. Excellent negotiation and assertive communication skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Experience as a Release Train Manager or in a similar role within SAFe.
  7. Familiarity with Agile and technical concepts and the ability to engage with development teams on a technical level.
  8. Proficient in English. Any other language is a plus.
  9. Passionate and a can-do attitude is a must.
  10. Nice to have: PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or similar certifications.
  11. Experience in Agile software development, SAFe, SCRUM, and engineering projects.
  12. Advanced degree in a relevant field.
