About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GNC Modelling and Simulation Engineer to join our team at Deimos Space. As a key member of our GNC/AOCS Competence Centre, you will play a crucial role in developing modelling and simulation solutions to support the growth and maturation of our Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specification, design, implementation, and validation of environmental, spacecraft, sensor, and actuator dynamics for various aerospace applications.
  • Development and maintenance of tools for model validation and versioning, as well as support for code re-usability and scalability strategies.
  • Specification and validation of simulation and modelling solutions, including mathematical modelling and development of dynamic systems.
  • Extension and adaptation of simulation models according to manufacturer specifications, as well as simulation infrastructure scalability, maintenance, and production.
  • Analysis and trade-off of hardware solutions, interface with the overall system team, and technical management.
Requirements
  • A recognized engineering degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic) or a related degree.
