Job Title: GNC Modelling and Simulation Engineer

Elecnor Deimos is seeking a highly skilled GNC Modelling and Simulation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced GNC systems for our spacecraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop GNC systems for spacecraft, including navigation, control, and communication systems.
  • Develop and maintain simulation models for GNC systems, including environmental and dynamic models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GNC systems with other spacecraft systems.
  • Perform trade studies and analysis to optimize GNC system performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for GNC systems.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in GNC system design and development.
  • Strong background in MATLAB/Simulink and C programming languages.
  • Experience with physical modelling and simulation tools, such as Simscape.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Python programming language.
  • Object-oriented programming skills.
  • Experience with XML and automatic code generation.
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience in flight operations in ESA/European programmes.
Language Skills:

Good level of English, spoken and written.
