About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled OPEN RAN Project Engineer to join our team at Vodafone. As a key member of our Open RAN Product Strategy and Planning team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our radio access networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and drive the OPEN RAN product roadmap, including a 3-year plan and TCO evolution, ensuring successful product integration and deployments.
  • RAN Commercial Processes: Support the commercial process through RFQ best practices, shortlisting vendors, and maximizing their technical and commercial capabilities and efficiencies.
  • OPEN RAN Solutions and Innovation: Shape, develop, and deliver OPEN RAN solutions and innovation from high-level specifications to validated products that can be deployed in the field.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience in mobile operator/Radio supplier environments in the fields of 2G/3G/4G/5G Radio Access Networks.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in software or hardware development of RAN products or functions.
  • Programme Management Skills: Proven track record for successful development and delivery of new Radio technologies/final customer solutions.
  • Commercial Skills: Experience in delivering RFI/RFP/RFQ management and evaluation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
