The Open RAN Product Engineer will be an integral part of the Open RAN Product Strategy and Planning team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Formulating the OPEN RAN strategy, executing and managing the product roadmap, along with a comprehensive three-year plan and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evolution, while monitoring progress through all development phases to ensure effective product integration and deployment.
  • Assisting in RAN commercial activities by applying best practices in Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes to identify and shortlist vendors, optimizing their technical and commercial strengths.
  • Designing, developing, and delivering innovative OPEN RAN solutions, transitioning from high-level specifications to validated products ready for field deployment.

What qualifications will you bring?

  • Significant experience within a mobile operator or radio supplier context, particularly in 2G/3G/4G/5G Radio Access Networks.
  • Background in software or hardware development related to RAN products or functionalities.
  • Demonstrated success in the development and delivery of new radio technologies and customer solutions.
  • Experience managing and evaluating Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Quotations (RFQ).
  • Exceptional skills in customer relationship management and PowerPoint presentation preparation.
  • Strong programme management capabilities.
  • Proficient communication skills in both Spanish and English.
