The Open RAN Product Engineer will be an integral part of the Open RAN Product Strategy and Planning team. Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating the OPEN RAN strategy, executing and steering the product roadmap, along with the associated three-year plan and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evolution, while monitoring progress through all development phases to ensure effective product integration and deployment.
- Assisting in RAN commercial activities by applying best practices in Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes to identify and shortlist vendors, enhancing their technical and commercial capabilities.
- Designing, developing, and delivering OPEN RAN solutions and innovations, transforming high-level specifications into validated products ready for field deployment.
What you will contribute:
- Significant experience within a mobile operator or radio supplier context, particularly in 2G/3G/4G/5G Radio Access Networks.
- Experience in the software or hardware development of RAN products or functionalities.
- A proven history of successful development and delivery of new radio technologies and end-user solutions.
- Experience in managing and evaluating Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Quotations (RFQ).
- Exceptional skills in customer relationship management and proficiency in preparing PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong program management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
