We are seeking a highly skilled RAN Innovation Engineer to join our team at Telefónica S. A. in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our Global Access area within the Chief Technology Office (GCTIO), you will play a crucial role in driving innovation in 6G RAN technical enablers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze new technical enablers in 6G and their impact on RAN networks.
  • Participate in European and national research projects, such as those of the SNS and UNICO I+D programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and evolve radio access networks.
Requirements
  • Telecommunications Engineer with RAN expertise and at least 3 years of experience in radio access network design and evolution.
  • Master's degree mandatory; PhD student desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of 5G and 5G Advanced, as well as network architectures and protocols.
  • Programming experience in Python and ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment.
